Healing through the Heart  is a Heart-centered therapy, is an approach that emphasizes the importance of emotional connection, empathy, and compassion. It incorporates elements from various therapeutic modalities, including humanistic, person-centered, and trans-personal approaches, with a focus on accessing and healing emotional wounds through the heart.

I help identify and verbalize your feelings, facilitating the processing of emotions and promoting emotional healing.

Emotional Awareness and Expression are fundamental aspects of emotional intelligence and psychological well-being. They involve recognizing, understanding, and effectively communicating one’s emotions.

Emotional awareness refers to the ability to recognize and identify one’s own emotions as well as the emotions of others. It involves being attuned to internal emotional states, including subtle feelings and bodily sensations, and understanding the triggers and context that influence these emotions. Emotional awareness allows you to accurately label and describe your feelings, which is essential for effective emotional regulation and communication.

By developing emotional awareness, you gain insight into your own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, leading to self-understanding and self-acceptance.

Effective emotional expression is essential for building and maintaining healthy relationships. By openly sharing your emotions and listening empathetically to others, you can establish trust, intimacy, and mutual support in relationships.

You are encouraged to develop self-compassion and kindness towards yourself, recognizing and accepting your own vulnerabilities and imperfections. Mindfulness practices are often integrated into Healing through the Heart therapy to help you cultivate present-moment awareness and connect with your inner experiences.

Emotional expression involves communicating one’s emotions outwardly through verbal and nonverbal means. This can include expressing feelings through words, gestures, facial expressions, tone of voice, and body language. Emotional expression allows you to share your inner experiences with others, fostering connection, empathy, and understanding in relationships.

By practicing mindfulness, you can observe thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations without judgment, fostering self-awareness and emotional regulation.

Healing Relationships: Focus on exploring and healing relational wounds, including past traumas and attachment issues that help you develop healthier patterns of relating to others, fostering authentic connections and repairing interpersonal relationships.

Creative Expression: Creative techniques such as art therapy, writing, music, or movement may be incorporated into therapy to facilitate emotional expression and processing. Creative expression can provide alternative ways of communicating and accessing deeper emotions, promoting healing and self-discovery.

Spiritual Integration: Exploring existential questions, inner meaning, spiritual dimensions and connection to something greater than oneself. Exploring your spiritual beliefs and experiences as part of the healing journey
